how can I save URLs without domain name

    Hi,

    I used WP 2.8.x as a “pure CMS” an I wish myself to save the URL without the domainname. I understand the reason of this WP-feature… WP is the “only one” that save the complete URL with domain.

    If I change the domain name, I must change all inputs of the database – included the serialisized values of the Plugins and any Javascript variables. …that is very unpractical!

    How I can switch that off in the core?
