How Can I Scale My Website to Be Smaller?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

I am looking for help in scaling my website to be smaller.
What I mean is that my website looks better at 90% scale than at 100% when zooming in.

Is there a way to make the ‘default’ of my website be at 90%, ie. decrease the size of EVERYTHING in the page?

    Thank you,

    Ivan

Hi Ivan, the Baskerville theme calculates the locations of each post on the blog page and inserts the location information directly into the html for the page, and continually recalculates those locations based on the width of the viewport (window/screen) for all screen sizes. Due to this, although we can make the content area narrower, the posts end up getting very narrow and lie outside of the content div due to those calculated locations.

The short way of saying all the above is that on Baskerville, we cannot do that.
