  is there a way to search for blogs/bloggers that are close to me geographically – i.e. I would like to look at blogs by bloggers who have identified themselves as from Abilene, TX

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not aware of a way to search WordPress.com based on location. You can search based on keywords here:

  http://en.search.wordpress.com/

  Perhaps you could search using Abilene and Texas to see if you find some local bloggers that way?
