How can I see what I'm typing?

    When I try to edit a post it appears as white on a white background in the text box, and if I highlight it it’s all light blue with a bunch of symbols for page breaks. When I try to type a new post, I can’t see anything I’m typing and the word count doesn’t change. All I can see is the red jagged underline to signify misspelling. I’ve tried clearing my cache and disabling add-ons and changing themes but nothing I’ve found online seems to work. I don’t know anything about programming, and I’m not sure where to begin with that. If I need to do anything other than selecting something from a menu, I need it really spelled out for me. Thank you!

    I can’t seem to replicate this issue. Can you try using another browser such as Firefox or Chrome?
