How can I send out several posts all in one email at the end of the day?

I am wondering how I can change how my posts are sent out to the readers. Currently, it emails them every time I write and submit a new post, but how can I get it to send out one email a day that includes all of the posts written from that day? I think it gets annoying for readers to get several separate emails a day, when they could get one email at the end of the day that includes everything.

ALSO, when the posts are sent out by email, they contain a number like #17 (which has nothing to do with anything that I can figure…) How can I remove this number? I would like to be able to change the subject of the email.

  • This is not something that can be controlled at the blog level. Users can choose from within their subscription settings to receive posts instantly or in a single digest at the end of the day, but that choice can’t be made for them through the blog.

  • Regarding your second question, I’m not entirely sure what you’re referring to. Some applications, like Apple’s Mail app, group emails and then number them in sequence, so the 17th subscription email would be identified as #17. That is not something that we can control on this end.
