  Hi, new to blogging. Kinda tech challenged as well. Want my site to automatically go to the blog page, not home page. Also want to have my blogs categorized by month like the category section I can see on the home page demo.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It sounds like your page is set to A static page. This means it’s a set page. To change it to go directly to your blogs posts follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://wordpress.com/customize
  2. Click on Static Front Page
  3. Check the Your latest posts box
  4. Click Save & Publish

  Also want to have my blogs categorized by month like the category section I can see on the home page demo.

  With your theme (Twenty Sixteen), you can achieve this through creating an Archive Sidebar Widget.

  To do this, you can follow the instructions provided at the link OR follow these instructions:

  1. Go to https://wordpress.com/customize/
  2. Click on Widgets → Sidebar → Add Widget → Archives
  3. From here, you can add a title for the archive, choose to display it as a dropdown, and show posts counts per month. This is all up to you
  4. Click Save & Publish
