How can I set up a mailing list registration on my blog?

  First, thank you for providing such an easy to use product that lets a non-techie author like me present a professional face to the world. Thanks! I closed my static website on GoDaddy last year and forwarded it to my blog here because you are so much easier to use and it looked so much better.

  I’d like to set up a widget that will let readers sign up for a mailing list. Is that possible on my WordPress.com blog?
