How can I set up a static home page with tabs that go to other pages with subdiv

  I am trying set up a blog with recipes. I need a static home page with list of About me, Recipes with sub-divisions like Antipasti, Bread and Pizza, Soups etc. I have not been able to do this as yet.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If all the links you want to include are to static pages, then you can use the List Pages shortcode.

  If you want links to a combination of posts and pages you’ll have to insert them manually: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
