How can I set up my WordPress so that MY clicks appears as EU and not my country

  Hello everyone,

  How can I set up my WordPress so that MY clicks appears as EU and not my country ? I see in my stats that some people appears as ” European Union” and not as a specific country, and I d like to do the same !

  Well, I am moving a lot withing Europe (UK, NL, FR, GE, BE) so the country I am connected from does not tell that much, so I d like something stable

  Plus, I feel more european than any specific nationnality.

  And do not want people to “guess” what of the country I mentioned before I am connected from.

  I hope you understand my point.

  Just to make sure – by “stats” you mean information about visitors who come to your site, correct?

  So when you visit other users’ websites, you would like them to see your visit as you are located in Europe instead of specific country?

  If that is the case, we can’t accomplish that by changing settings on WordPress.com unfortunately.

  There are no user settings that can be changed.

  That’s what I meant indeed. May I ask you why it’s impossible to make this change ? I do see that some of my visitors are referred as to ” EU “. Why can’t I do the same ?

  The capability for users to make such changes does not exist here at WordPress.COM. When the country cannot be identified visitors are referred to as coming from EU.

  Thanks timethief. I guess then people referred as to “EU” are people that are not connected via wordpress !? That makes sense
