How can I share on Facebook with proper thumnail photo and title for my post

  When I share my post on Facebook, the thumnail is of my main masthead photo, not of one of the photos within the post. In addition, the title of the post is also missing so it just looks like a random spam link. I am sure there must be an easy fix but I am stumped.

  Choosing the thumbnail is entirely up to Facebook and we have no control over that. They seem to employ the use of a very strict set of criteria when choosing the image, which can sometimes lead to no image or the “wrong” image.

  Is there away to get the title of the post to show?

  Does that happen to every post? or just a certain post? if so, which one.

  I’ve just used the Facebook Debugger to update Facebook’s cache so it matches to your site. Hopefully this resolves some of your issues.

  Note that this won’t affect any previously shared posts, only future posts.
