How can i show different types of posts in respective pages?
-
We have already set up a basic website using the wordpress.com template (the ‘marywood’ ), yet there is some difficulty on managing our posts. We hope that our posts could be separated into different categories with two or more pages; however, when we set up a new blog page, all my preference changes and new posts will show up in the same page and it’s hard for us to tell which category the post was in. Also. we have no idea about how to add new sub link groups to the main link that showed on our homepage.
Is there any solution or other recommended templates could you provide? Thank you for your patience and assistance! -
Hi there!
We hope that our posts could be separated into different categories with two or more pages;
To achieve this, you might find our Categories useful. This is how they work:
1. You create a category under https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/lawtaiwancyuantai.wordpress.com – click the Categories button on that page.
2. This automatically creates a page for that category. The link looks like this:
https://lawtaiwancyuantai.wordpress.com/category/category-name
3. You create a blog post, and assign it to that category in the post settings, as shown in this image:
4. You publish the post and it automatically appears on the category pageHere’s more information:

we have no idea about how to add new sub link groups to the main link that showed on our homepage.
For that you’ll want to reorder your menu items as explained here:
I hope that helps :)
