How can I solve issues transferring content from .com to .org?

    I have been trying all afternoon to transfer the content of my site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. I have done tools>export>all content in the .com site; in the .org site, tools>import>the xml file>include attachments and tags etc (as all of the guides say) and then once it loads, it says that it has failed to import the post tags (maybe tag posts?) and nothing has imported except for the pictures, and even then maybe not. (I’ve tried this several times). If this is going to be such a cock up, then I would like to try to get a refund.

    Hi, I’m sorry it’s been such a frustrating experience. Could you please take a screenshot of the errors that you get when trying to import? That will help me figure out what’s going wrong.

    After taking it, just upload it to your Media Library and I’ll take a look.
