What is the URL you’re trying to register? The registration process seems to be having some minor fits today. You might be better off waiting a day.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I am going to do. Please, wordpress people, get the message, new blog registration is not working correctly

url is art and heart of massage. wordpress.com, but I have tried so many other ones and it keeps saying the same damn thing. only use lower case letters and numbers and I can’t bypass it

url is art and heart of massage. wordpress.com,

only use lower case letters and numbers and I can’t bypass it

What part of ONLY don’t you understand? A blank space is NOT a lower case letter or number. URLs cannot include blank spaces.

    You can try artandheartofmassage.wordpress.com

Or possibly art_and_heart_of_massage.wordpress.com, but that would be difficult for users to remember and I’m not sure it would even work.

Another possibility might be art-and-heart-of-massage.wordpress.com, but that might create problems also.

I have seen URLs with dashes ( – ) . I’ve even registered one with a single dash, but never with more than one. I don’t know if they will accept underscores ( _ ) or not.

Have you seen .wordpress.com URL with a dash in it? I haven’t.
    What works is:
    lower case alphabet letters
    no special characters
    no punctuation
    no spaces

I know you can do it as a top level domain.

I don’t know if you can do it as a sub-domain of wordpress.com. If not, that would be a restriction put in place by WordPress.

I do know that blank spaces cannot be used in any instance.

    Me too.

I don’t know if it is a restriction or not so I’ll flag this thread for a Staff clarification.
