How can I start over and keep the name?

I’ve just had a lesson on blogging and I’ve “played” with the blog but now I want to start afresh but keep the name until I think of something better.

You can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk.
Alternatively, we can empty the whole blog for you, but that will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, and uploaded files.
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.If you are sure you want to proceed, please reply to confirm the name of the blog you want us to empty.

Not sure what you mean, but whatever you do DO NOT delete your blog to start again, because deleted URL’s cannot be re-used, not even by the original owner. If you want to just remove all your posts and start again, you can do that in the bulk edit of your posts.

Thanks to Kardotim the Happiness Engineer and to therattlingdoor for such speedy and helpful responses. I have almost no content in my blog. I just had a lesson yesterday so it’s a work in progress. Problem was that I deleted widgets instead of deactivating them. I’ve made a bit of a mess and would like to start afresh. I would like to keep the name of the blog and start with a new template rather than fix what’s there now.

Even if you deleted the widgets you can still re-add them. If you want to change your theme you can do that in Dashboard>Appearance>Themes.
