How can I still get a WordPress.com subdomain?

    Simple question: the process to create new blogs only offers me a bunch of paid domains or .blog subdomains with irrelevant categories.

    Hi there,

    As previously mentioned by a staff currently the signup process does try to feature paid domains, but you should still be able to pick a free name too. It might show as a .home.blog address (or similar subdomain) but those are also free.

    Here’s a visual instruction to help you out. Select Business and then still type Blog as your business type. You will have the free option available to you with other paid domains.
