How can I stop code appearing in my draft posts?
-
Instead of draft posts containing images and formatted text, I am suddenly getting something more like this:
sample post text
And a slew of letters and characters instead of images. Can you help me out please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you give me the name of a draft post where you are seeing this so I can look into it?

This problem affects all current draft posts and every new one I open. Try
Eucalyptus Stricklandii
fro example. Thanks so much for looking into this… m

When I open that draft I see the text below… (I think this is just a series of photos)
The data is clearly there: when I go to preview I see the post I expect. But editing is very hard this way :)

I am not having any trouble seeing a preview of that draft. I see the images just fine and do not see code.
Can you go to this page:
And tell me what you see after “Checking your browser…”?

I see a green tick and
Great, third party cookies are properly enabled in your browser!
and I have been in to double check… also updated Firefox in case that might help… not so far! So maybe the issue is something to do with settings on my computer? I just can’t think what…

OK rootjosh, I’m sorted… I roamed the interwebs awhile and found references to visual editor and text editor… went into the page edit screen and found that text was selected. No idea how that happened, but I switched to the visual mode and all is back to normal. Thanks for your help. m
