How can I stop someone from cloning my blog?

    Hello,
    someone cloned my complete blog (kochpoetin.wordpress.com) and registered it with godaddy under kochpoetin.com. Each new article appears there as soon as i posted it.
    I found out that this happenend a lot to all types of German Blogs lately. I already filed a complaint with godaddy. What else can I do to protect the contents of my blog?

    Hi there. It sounds like you have already done the most important thing you can do in reporting them, and the site appears to have been taken down already.

    You can also add a copyright notice to your site. It’s not a legal requirement, as your content is automatically protected by copyright whether you add a copyright notice or not, but it makes some people think twice before stealing content. There’s no way of completely preventing them, though, aside from setting your site to private so no one can see it.
