How can I stop the example site from showing?

  Hello, I am a new wordpress user. I have activated my new blog but cannot remove the example site with its test post. This example site does not appear in my dashboard.

  Asking the same question over and over distorts the fabric of space and time and does not get you an answer quicker – in fact it slows it down

  There is no need to be snarky. I simply do not know how to express my problem. I do not know whether what I describe is a sample page, an example page, a welcome page etc.
