How can I switch back to "public"? Normal settings not working.
-
One of my blogs has switched from public to private. I did not make this change and cannot seem to change it back. The visibility settings are not private as far as I can tell. What to do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

See here for the privacy settings guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
Know that you must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and change the privacy settings.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Thanks. I’ve read the privacy settings guide. I am logged in as administrator. All my other blogs are fine. I can go to the settings > Reading section of the problematic blog. It says it is available to search engines… but when I log out I cannot get public access to it.

Then you need to post here:
1. The username account that registered the blog in question.
2. The URL starting with http:// for the blog in question.I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Thanks. I think I do need Staff Assistance. I am subscribed to this thread. The URL is, I think, the blog address posted in the opening of this thread: http://weeklyharangues.wordpress.com.

Did this work itself out? I’m able to see http://weeklyharangues.wordpress.com when I’m not logged into WordPress.
If it’s still a problem for you, could you tell me a little more about the process you are following that doesn’t allow you to see the site?

Hi. Yes it is working fine now. I haven’t changed anything I’ve been doing so it was either a glitch or some hidden mechanics Thanks for your concern…
