How can I switch off Beep Beep Boop editor?

    thanks for the detailed answer.

    I revisited tags and categories. Contrary to the classic one, I do not get an overview to select from, but a shortened list. So you are right, I have to write one or some letters rather than select one. I even did not find this until your hint because it is not intuitive. I searched for the list I already have.

    In the classic view I got a complete list with weightings.
    I tried to switch to the new one some times ago, but tagging and categorizing was too complicate and time consuming.
    One of my problems is that my memory is not so good anymore as it was.
    I’d switch to the new one if the tagging and categorizing is more convenient.

    I found that the screen design depends on computer. At the moment I have a computer were the menu is at the left. Mostly I work at a computer where the menus appear above the writing area outside the screen, so I have to scroll up and down.

    For me tagging and categorizing is the most important at the moment.
    Writing and editing is ok for me in the new one.

    PS: The tags appear in alphabetic order, not in order of most popular.
    So it ends at “F”.
    It is clear that this kind of look-up menu cannot be too long. It would help if I could decide what is displayed when I do not enter a letter.

    PS: Would it be possible to introduce the “weighted” form of tags and categories – as in the old editor?
    This would be a great help.

    I cannot promise a change like that, but I can track it as a suggestion for you. Suggestions will be reviewed from time to time when the editor is worked on.

    Thanks for the message. Yes it is. It is rather complete for the important tags and categories.

    And it is the “Casus Knacktus” ( nickname for “crucial point”) why I use the classic view.
    All others is good or not so good, but this is just considering my brain status in the classic version.
