How can I tell if a domain is reserved for me?
-
While trying to start a new blog, it says the name is reserved but I think it is reserved for me and my partner. How can I confirm this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Blogs are now reserved for the matching account name – so you should have an account name that you or your pardner should be able to log into that matches the blog name you want

The blog name I am referring to is 2bpublishing. We have the top level domain at godaddy. My partner tried to register with 2bpublishing.wordpress.com and had a problem, them just registered without a domain so I suspect the domain is reserved for her. I need to know how I can find out and gain access to it.
Thanks for your help.

use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
The matching username account was registered 4 years ago https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/2bpublishing
There is no time limit on this at all. There is no expiration date on reserved blogs or on registered blogs that are unused.
If you own the username account then you can log in as Admin under that account and register the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ If you don’t own that username account then you cannot register the reserved blog.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
and if required click the “Need More Help” link and complete the form for account recovery.

P.S. I hope you are clear on the fact that when domain mapping a blog it does not matter what the underlying.wordpress.com blog URL is.
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers. What is possible is purchasing an annually renewable $13. per year domain mapping upgrade to map to an existing domain.
In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. To register a WordPress.com blog see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.
See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

Thank you so much. I do understand. I just wish I knew who had it because it is not being used from what I can tell. Oh well…
Thank you again.
