How can I tell if readers are using my Tags to navigate my site?

I have tried to see if this answer is addressed anywhere else and haven’t been able to find it, but please point me elsewhere if necessary.

Is there a way in WordPress to know whether my readers are using my site Tags and/or Categories to find content? I know in the stats page I can see my most popular tags and categories, but that doesn’t tell me if that’s actually how people are navigating to find the content on my site.

For example, I have the tag “Tony” for stories about a particular boyfriend. His stories are in the “Relationship” or “Sex” (or both) category. But is there any real benefit to my tagging those posts with “Tony”, for my readers?

    Thanks!
