I have a website on WordPress with my own domain name, and for professional reasons, I need to disable it (at least temporarily). How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Putting the site on disable mode is something I’m not aware of (I might be wrong).
However, you can set your site to private, so that no one can access it until you give them permission.

Hope this helps! :)

Hi there,
What is the URL of the site in question?
If the site is hosted with us on WordPress.com, you can set it to private as mentioned above.
If the site is built using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider, you’ll need to ask that hosting provider if they offer an option to take the site offline without completely deleting it. Otherwise the only other option I know of is to use a maintenance mode plugin to make the site’s content inaccessible.
