How can I transfer my Domain out of WordPress?

  Hey Everyone,
  I am new at this and I have purchased my domain last year and it is time to renew it. I do not want to have a blog format Because I have a video podcast I want to revolve around.so I want to transfer just my domain to another host. Should I wait till my domain expires and buy it again so I put it in a new host and start fresh or what? please help!

  You should be able to transfer it and then renew it. I wouldn’t let it expire because someone else might take it.
