How can I transfer pages from another site?

  I have 300 pages at hubpages.com . I would like to transfer them to WordPress.com . Is it possible for me to do a direct transfer of all of my pages so that all of my modules (words, photos, YouTube video links, and amazon products) would transfer over without me having to upload them individually myself? Thank you for any help you might be able to provide!

  Are you clear on the differences between self hosted wordpress.ORG software installs and site hosted by wordpress.COM and the restrictions and limitations involved in wordpress.COM hosted blogging?

  I am asking because hubspot.com sites are for marketing blogs and there are advertising restrictions here at wordpress.COM.

  Despite your username I assume you are into making an income from your Christian blog and if that is the case then I’m pretty sure you will be better suited to hire a webhost http://wordpress.ORG/hosting and set up your own wordpress.ORG software install which you can easily import into.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

  Thank you for the reply! I actually write lesson plans for teachers and homeschoolers. They are currently posted at hubpages.com (not hubspot.com) — though the names are quite close! The only “advertising” I do is including amazon links to the books used in the lessons. I will ask the same above question at wordpress.com . Thank you again!

  Okay! Thank you for the helpful link. I guess since hubpages.com isn’t listed as an option on the import page, then it’s not possible to do a block transfer of my pages.

  If you can get an XML export file of the hubpages content then you will be able to import it into a wordpress.com site.

  Would an XML export file be able to save and transfer everything (text, images, amazon modules, YouTube videos, and links)?
