OK, I am not really that techsavvy. I have a website. Do the above suggestions also apply to my site?

No. They apply ONLY to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and not to any other sites at all.

Ok, I have a website built with wordpress but hosted by Dreamhost. I want to modify the text and table content and look. That is, I would like to learn how to do the usual website maintenance (addition/deletion/modification of texts, photos, tables, etc.). Is there a documentation I can access/print out?
