How can I turn off [New post] emails for subscribers?

  Hi, we recently started sending a weekly email newsletter (on Wednesdays) that includes a feature on our weekly blog post (that we make late on Mondays). I’m wondering if it is possible to shut off the [New post] emails that automatically send to our subscribers each time we do a blog post, in order to reduce redundancy. The articles I found on this topic were a couple years old, and I’m wondering if there is any way to do this nowadays. Or if it is possible to “remove” subscribers so the emails go to no one…. Please advise.

  Subscription options are controlled on the subscriber side, not the content creator side, so your readers can choose when or if to receive e-mail notice of your posts, but you can’t turn that on and off from your side.
