How can I update my contact information?

I am not able to update my contact information. When I select the field I wish to update, it will not allow me to type anything. The contact information “shown” is the privacy proxy info.

Hi there,
The privacy information is shown as you currently have the Private Registration upgrade on your domain. I’m happy to disable this so you can update your contact information. Please note, if you update either the first name, last name, or organization fields, your domain will be locked (unable to be transferred) for 60 days as described here:

If you would like me to temporarily disable this for you, just reply back to confirm!

Before I’m able to re-enable the private registration, I’ll need you to confirm the contact detail change. You should have received an email from ICANN, which is a governing body of sorts for domain registrations. Once you click the confirm button there, I’ll be able to kick the private registration back on.
Let me know if you don’t receive the confirmation email for some reason!

I just resent it for you. Can you check your inbox as well as any spam folders or other tabs like Social in Gmail?

It came, but addressed to the old domain holder. :/ I went back and my contact info had reverted to the old settings. I have changed them again – should I expect another confirmation email?

Hi there,
I don’t think another confirmation email is necessary. I re-enabled the privacy on the domain. Just to make sure the changes stuck, can you let me know what email address you were changing the domain contact info to? Please note, the email will appear as “redacted” in the forum thread, but it will be visible to staff members.

The email actually stayed the same – (email visible only to moderators and staff). It was the name/address that changed.

I went ahead and sent an email to the address on file for your account confirming the new street address just to make sure the changes took effect. Could you reply there?
