This site http://lourikareinders.com/ is a WordPress.COM hosted blog and Staff do all upgrades here. You cannot install any plugins. There are many built-in plugins in WordPress.COM blogs. In fact the JetPack plugin for WordPress.ORG installs provides what we have built-into our WordPress.COM blogs.

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Thank you so much for the reply!

You said: “There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs” – but my site is a paid site, PREMIUM ACCOUNT – so can I not then download any plugins?

“There are many built-in plugins in WordPress.COM blogs” – what I am looking for is to install the “Media Library Assistant” plugin….will I now not be able to install it to my site? I have already downloaded it.

There is no such thing as a Premium Account at WordPress.COM. We can purchase upgrades for individual blogs only and purchasing them does not change what I posted above at all. You are confusing WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
