How can I upload a song from a music file?

    I just can’t seem to find a way to upload a music from my flash-drive? I need help my friends.

    Hey there kulmiye! Music files that are allowed here on wordpress.com are the following types: mp3, ogg, wav, m4a, mov, wmv, avi, and mpg. These uploads though require you to purchase the ‘space upgrade’. If you have a flash drive and the space upgrade, you would go to your ‘create new post’ page in the admin, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the “image upload” portion to browse to the file on your flash drive.

    If you don’t have the space upgrade, you best read the FAQ on adding music to help you along as well!

    How do I get music on my blog?

    It is a good read even if you have the space upgrade ;)

    Kulmiye: If you’ve uploaded the songs on some uploading website, you’ll have to make sure that they allow streaming. Otherwise it wouldn’t work.

    Just in case you can’t find a website that works, you can make an account at http://www.fileden.com It’s free, tried and tested.
