How can I use again the old username in my account that I previously deleted?

  I made an account before with ‘nelleilano’ as a username but then I deleted it. Now that I made a new account, I wanted to use that (nelleilano) as my username but I can’t use it since it was registered before.

  I’m afraid that you will need to choose a new username. once deleted, usernames are not recycled on WordPress.com.

  Thank you for your reply. I’ve been using that for all my social accounts. :/ Is there no other way for me to use that username again?

  There is not, I’m afraid. This is why there are multiple warnings/confirmations during the site deletion process.
