How can I use my email address to login to WordPress?

    I can only login via a link that was automatically sent to me after I notified my brother about my new ‘backpacking’ post. Under Settings -> Account Details I can see my email address. Next to it is the instruction, “Used for notifications, not published.” When I try to login I get a dialog box that says, “The username or email (email visible only to moderators and staff) does not exist here on WordPress.org. Register It?”

    Please help me access my WordPress post via a normal login process.

    WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM are completely different systems.
