How can I use scalable vector graphics for my custom header?

  Tried to upload an SVG graphic to use as my blog header and got a message saying I couldn’t use it for security reasons. What is the security issue with a graphic? Does it need to be saved in a particular vector format?

  We only allow certain file formats for security purposes. For header images, we only allow JPEG, GIF, and PNG.

  Also, keep in mind that not all browsers have complete support for all SVG specifications.
