I have a free blog site with WordPress, and I want to earn a little money using this name. I am a little unsure of which subscription to use in order to make my site eligible for WordAds. What steps should I take and where do I take them?

Then, you can apply for WordAds at http://wordads.co/signup/

How will I know if will be accepted for WordAds? Will I need to change anything on my blog before I apply? There isn’t any content that shouldn’t be seen by children, but I do have older post that deal with religion.

No, just the annual cost for the custom domain, which of course also gives you a custom domain. :)
