How can my images be easily found on search engines (e.g. Google)?

    We are not satisfied with the number of clicks on our blog. We believe that this is due to its visibility for search engines. We would prefer it when some-one searches for “Kilbeggan” for example, all our images relating to “Kilbeggan” should show up on the search engine.
    Currently search engines can only find names in our blog texts. They cannot find any of our images. Would using the caption option on each image help? We have entered a caption on each image, but then it is difficult to align the images as we wish, and writing a story/text extra to this does not seem to work. Any suggestions?
