How Can My Readers Post Pics to my blog?

  I would like readers to submit cat photos to my blog. How can I do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

  They can provide URLs to images hosted on the internet somewhere to you in comments and you can then choose whether or not to display them.

  If you think that’s odd please think again. The vast majority of information on the internet is spam. Over 80% of all so-called comments received on WordPress.com blogs every day are spam. because if anyone and everyone could just post an image on your blog it would be full of porno and other spam.

  You’re welcome. If there are specific people you want to allow to contribute to your blog that is possible.

  If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.

  If you want something that works like ICanHasCheezburger, please be aware they pay tens of thousands per year for their site, plus have multiple full time security people keeping them safe from spammers. It’s not a simple undertaking at all.
