How can my subscribers start receiving email alerts when I post again

I don’t understand how these forums work. All I know is, my subscribers used to receive email alerts when I posted, now they don’t – as of six weeks/2 months ago. How can I rectify this – or is there some WordPress customer support – there doesn’t seem to be! Not everyone is tech literate – please excuse this but I just need some HELP!!!! : )

Well, you’re posting in the forums. I alone have answered 70,000 technical support questions here, and I’m just a volunteer. The problem is certainly not a lack of support.
Were the posts made as drafts and stored awhile before being published, or were they published right away? Were they scheduled, and posted later?

Hi there – thanks so much for replying. No, you’re right it’s probably my incapability! But, I couldn’t find any other means of support on the WordPress site.
I published them right away – they weren’t saved as drafts first.

Okay, you didn’t happen to change your blog URL at any point, did you? I can’t see anything wrong with your blog off the top of my head.

No, it’s been the same for years. I did start a Facebook page in the same name .. but that shouldn’t make any difference?

No, it shouldn’t. I’m all out of ideas, so I’m going to have to flag this for staff. Tick the box below this Write Post box so you get an email when staff have replied.

Please let me know the username or email address (which if properly formatted will only be visible to staff) of users who have reported not receiving email notifications, and I will look into it for you.

Thanks. I’d rather not post their email addresses here. WordPress seem unable to help. Perhaps I should just ask those who don’t get email alerts to subscribe again? But then what if the same thing happens?

I would be happy to assist you, but I cannot do so unless I know who isn’t receiving notifications so I can investigate it further.
If you have email addresses now, and post them here, they will not appear publicly. If you prefer, I can contact you via email. Just let me know.

I’ve just sent a list of my subscribers usernames to jackiedana. Thanks everyone. It’s been weeks now and still no solution!

I think I see the issue. Only four of the email address you posted are listed as email subscribers to inconversationwithstrangers.wordpress.com.
To confirm, is that the correct blog?
If so, you may wish to ask the people who say they aren’t receiving notifications to sign up again on your blog.
