How can post a blog on more than one page?

I wondered if you can help, as I’m posting lots of difference things on here I would like to add a tab at the top (where it says home & about me) for Recipes. i know how to add the page but what i want is when i post a new post it goes on the home page (like normal) but also on the recipe page so people going to the site can click on recipes just to see that rather than have to scroll all the way down the page, does that makes sense. I know you can add categories but I dont think its clear enough.

Thanks for your help in advance :-)

It sounds like you need to set up Category Pages and add them to your site’s menu.

    Check these pages out:

I had a look but when I add in Recipes it gets rid of my home tab. I basically want to have home, about me, recipes and fitness. Then when i post a blog it goes on home but also under recipes page. Does that make sense. I think I’m being a dummy and its probably really easy to do :-(

You can add back Home as a link, and it seems like you’ve already added back your About page.

If you need further assistance after you review the previously provided pages I linked to, let me know and I will assist you.

Since your site’s front page will show all of your latest posts, you may have posts appear under both your site’s home page and a Category Page that you’ve assigned them to. That is the expected behavior, so you’re not doing anything wrong.

Let us know if you have any more questions.

I think i have worked it out, i will see when i try out my next post. I have added a menu for recipes and to the menu i have clicked tag ‘recipes’ so i believe that means that they should all show on that page as long as i tag them. Its not quite what i wanted. What i wanted was a page that if someone is coming to my site and wants to go on recipes there will be a grid like page where they can click on the ones they want rather than scroll though each post but its too complicated for me, im a beginner!!!

    Thanks for your help :-)

OK its not worked! What i want is the static page to be called home so when people go on the site they can see Home – about me – recipes along the top. Then what i want is all new pages to go up on the static page but ones that are recipes to be tagged on the recipes page. So if someone new is coming to the site they can go straight to recipes to read recipes and then back to home tab for all my posts. Does that make sense? Im finding it so confusing as it says home and about me normally but then when i added recipes the home tab disappeared :-(

A static page doesn’t automatically update with your latest posts, so that doesn’t sound like what you want for your site’s home page.

Also, please review the following support page for a clarification on the differences between posts and pages:

    Pages vs. Posts

At present, all of your new content will automatically be posted to your site’s home page, as you desire.

You’ve created a Category called recipes and assigned it to a post, so that is good. However, the category was not added to your site’s menu. I’ve addressed this for you:

    Menu

I added a menu item called Home, as well:
