the author of pouringmyartout.wordpress.com did a funny (but apparently stupid) stunt over the weekend of leaving spam-type comments on other blogs he follows.
His comments were along the same lines we’ve all seen show up in our spam filters, and occasionally our blogs as well.While he may have been out of line in regards to the terms of use agreement, it was done in the spirit of entertainment that pmao is known for, and that is generally appreciated across the sphere by hundreds of followers.
Please re-enable his New Post button, so we can continue to enjoy his posts.

I support this too, a day without PMAO’s numerous blog entries and continual comment replies is a lonely one indeed.
His omission is actually forcing me do some work causing me endless trauma.

If you were contacted by Staff and received a notification re: posting spam on your blog then there will be a link in the warning that you can click to contact Staff after you remove all the spam.

You’ve never been amused by the syntax abuse or mangling of sentences in your spam quarantine? Never laughed at the horrors of Google translate when they end up in a blocked comment?
I’ve often been very amused by them (except when I get the same message nine times from four users on four different IPs), and occasionally I’ve used syntax as a joke comment on posts where it’s seemed appropriate (usually where the blogger wrote post about their spam box).
What PMAO did was the same, just on a much larger scale, inviting everyone else into the game.
I’m sorry you took my posting of his link as an offense. It wasn’t meant that way. If you had flipped through his site, you’d find some very entertaining thoughts, and very good creative writing.Anyway, thank you again for the Akismet link. I’m pretty sure PMAO has learned his lesson here too, so hopefully it will all get resolved and we can get out of the support forum and back to blogging!

I’m not in the least amused by spammers and adults who act like fools and if I were Staff both the blog and the user would be history.

I assume timethief will not appreciate another message in support of PMAO, but I’m posting one anyway. I’m quite certain he didn’t mean to cause any harm. That he did inadvertently is obvious, but there was no ill intent. Everyone makes mistakes.

Staff deal with support tickets and forum threads in order of serving those the earliest date stamps and time stamps first and move forward to those with the most recent date stamps and time stamps.
