How can readers see comments on each post without clicking on the "comments" button?

  I’ve been reading tutorials all morning and can’t seem to figure out how to visually show comments from readers after each post without the reader having to click on “comments” button. I would like the comments to visually appear after each post, please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

  You comments are all visible underneath your posts, as far as I can see.

  I see the comments on this post, without needing to click on anything extra.

  I’m wondering if you’re looking at the main blog page, rather than your individual post page. Is that the case?

  Thank you for responding so quickly, you are exactly right. I am looking at the main blog page instead of individual post pages. I am really new to blogging, but I was wondering if there is a way to show the comments on the main blog page too…?? Please let me know and thanks again!

  Hi Ronda,

  There is not a way to display comments on your front page in this theme. It tends to make your front page difficult to read, as there can be A LOT to scroll through for one of your visitors.

  I think most people know it is a blogging standard to click the Comment link if they want to join/start a conversation or make an observation.

  I do have a solution that you may like. If you want to draw your visitors into your individual blog post, you can display a summary of your post on the main blog page that shows a Read More link. When the visitor clicks that link, they’ll be taken to your individual post that contains the comments box.

  Many of our users find that this neatens up and streamlines their blog page.
