How can Send posting as email

I am new to Word Press. I am trying to figure out how to add the option of sending a blog posting by email. Would appreciate any guidance. Kelley

You can set up a flickr account to blog by email, or you can go to imified.com and set up IM based posting there. But strictly speaking, no, wordpress.com doesn’t do posting by email.

We’ve discussed it many times here in teh forums in the past. It’s too easy for spammers and the like to abuse.

I am not sure that I stated this clearly. I am not looking to post by email. I am looking to forward a post by email to friends/ That may pose the same spamming problem. I welcome any guidance. Kelley

In internet lingo, that’s called “Send to a friend” and it’s been brought up before as well. As you note, it’s too easy for spammers to abuse as well.
