How Can Some One "Like" without Visiting My Blog?
-
Maybe I am becoming a little paranoid about spam since I clicked on one of those referring links shortly after starting a WordPress blog, but this seems strange.
After publishing a post a bit ago, I went to my email account and there was an email saying someone had “Liked” the post I had just published. Due to previous experience, I did not click on any links. Looking at my stats the number had not gone up. It was at the same number as it was since some time this morning.
Is this spam or is there some other way a person can “”like” a post without actually going to that blog?
Thank you for any replies. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Stats are as real-time as possible, but can sometimes get a bit behind. Has that visit been reflected yet?

I just checked and the counter is still at the same number. (My site is not very active, so it is still at 4 hits, which is what it was when I wrote this post)

I actually don’t see any Likes on that post, so perhaps it was just a glitch in the notification system.

That’s strange. I see a (1) on the Likes tab on the Navigation bar. (I had removed the option to have it by the comments). You probably are right about it being a glitch. I won’t worry about it then.
I appreciate you taking the time for this.
