How can I instruct people who are reading my blog to receive notifications that I have posted a new blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So there are a couple of different ways that people can follow a WordPress.com blog. Mostly having to do with if they are WordPress.com members themselves. We’ve got a basic overview of “following” here:

We also have a widget that you can add to your blog that allows readers who are not WordPress.com users to sign up to receive email updates when you make a new post:
