How can someone subscribe to my blog so it sends them emails?

  I can’t seem to find an option for a widget where people can click to subscribe to my blog. I want people to be able to subsribe so that updates are sent to their emails or their google readers etc… I can’t seem to find an option for this under the available widgets. Can you help?
