How can the "Add Image" button appear in order to insert a slideshow?

  I am having trouble with adding a slideshow. On the tutorial it says to click “Add Image” icon> then “Save All Changes> “Insert Slideshow”.
  I do not see/ have an that “Add Image” button or “Insert Slideshow” on the gallery tab; all i have is an “Add Media” button.

  The “Add Image” button has recently been replaced with the “Add Media” button. If you upload your images via the “Add Media” button, you’ll be able to follow the rest of the directions to insert a gallery into your post.
