    My domainname.com has been expired more than a year (cakebaankoon.com). How can I use it again?

    Hi there!

    Based on the WHOIS data, it looks like the domain may be in the redemption period at the moment. You must contact the company where you used to own the domain so that you can pay them to redeem and renew the domain. We aren’t able to help you with that as the domain wasn’t registered with us before it expired.

    Can you tell us if your plan is to use the domain again with your WordPress.com site? If yes, you will want to upgrade your WordPress.com site to a paid plan and then follow the instructions here to connect your domain. But before all that, you must contact the domain registrar and redeem/renew the domain.
