How can Visibility be Public for a Draft ?
-
When I open a draft I see Save draft , the Visibility is set Public
Now I wonder if this draft really is seen in Public
I thought a Draft can only be seen by me, the adminstratorThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes the Admin is the only one (or the writer of the Post) can see the Post.
Normal visitors will not see any of your Drafts. You must be logged in to see Drafts.
The “Visibility Public” is the setting that will occur after the Post is published assuming that your blog is not set to “Private”

Very tricky…. Impressed… Why make things simple when you can make it very complex ?
I mean, it seems that when I, after long use, feel familiar with WordPress and published a lot, there are still new and new tricks which requires new effort to understand the way WordPress is thinking.
And that is not intuitive at all.
This is a program that in the beginning has a low learning threshold but once you are into it you discover that it is not at all simple.
I would never occur to me to inform the user what would happen after the Post would be published It is really stupid information -
It actually makes sense if you look at the rest of the option, there are several different options for Visibility:
Visibility: Public Edit Public Stick this post to the front page Password protected PrivateYou can have a Post set to several different options as shown above, the “Visibility – Public” is telling you how the options for that Post are set. If you click on “Edit” to the right of “Visibility” you can change the options. You will see the same options displayed after a Post is published also, so it does work for both before and after it is published.

@stenbocken: I personally find WordPress to be one of the most user-friendly platforms out there. Too bad you don’t like it. I hope you find a blogging platform fit for your needs. Good luck and happy blogging.
