how can we define an item in menu bar directly opens a website

On menu bar If we want to show a website as a page directly can be uploaded with an item, how is it possible?
In menu, if you define a link and add the link to you menu, it is not shown as “page”, it is shown as “custom”. when you save it this link is not shown on the menu bar. As I understand, there are 2 ways to add an item to a menu bar. 1st adding a link, and or adding a page. The results should be available on menu bar, it never happens, it doesn’t work, why?
Now you have first should define a page. In that page you can define links, then what is that MENU making page, while you are defining all your required menus through PAGE option. If you want to show a website you should enter the link of that website in your desired page.
You should be able to add pages and menu bar, by means of PAGE option and or ADD LINK.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
