How can we get emails of posts to go to all designated?

We are having trouble with the Email Post Changes feature. We have 3 Users: Administrator, Author and Editor. We additionally have two “Additional email address” people to whom we want emails to go.
The Administrator and the Author receive emails of all posts sent by any User, just fine.
The Editor and two Additional Email Address people do not receive emails of any posts.
We have had them check their spam/junk boxes and filters; this is not the problem.
We want all 5 to receive email notification of initial posts (not pages, not every change to the post).
Here is how we currently have set up the “Email Post Changes” screen: “Enable” is not checked; in “Users to Email” all 3 Users are checked; “Posts” is checked; “Pages” is not checked; “Drafts” is not checked.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there – You must check ‘enable’ at the top for the emails to be sent at all.

But note that this feature is just to email people when *changes* are made to any already-published post.

To notify of new posts published, each person simply needs to follow the blog:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/

Once they’ve followed, they’ll also need to check that their follow settings for the blog are set for instant post emails here:
