How can we get our articles to appear summarized?

  In the settings of our website, ilcignonero1.wordpress.com, the option to summarize articles is selected, but on our actual website, none of the articles show up summarized, they are all full.

  Can you please help us fix this?

  Are you referring to the summary setting on the Settings > Reading page? If so, that is for your RSS feed.

  To shorten your posts on your site, you’ll want to use the “more” tag:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
